Just installed a new float valve for our CT 125, however on turning the fuel on its leaking fuel out the bottom hose of the carb just as before. Where do we go from here, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Hog talked about what could be making the new float valve leak fuel.
If that is not what is happening then the other most likely cause would be that the float itself is sinking allowing fuel to overflow and leak from the overflow line. (Hose at bottom).
If the float is the plastic "hollow" type check for liquid inside of it. If it is the black solid type see how it floats in a solvent of some type. Also rub on it to see if black stuff comes off of it with only a little force. If so, you found the problem.
If none of the above is found to be the problem then the "overflow / vent tube" inside the fuel bowl may be corroded allowing fuel to leak thru it making it appear as though the carb is overflowing/flooding.
If all of the above checks good for sure.... We can't fix it.

(Assuming the float height and fuel level are set correctly).
