Just installed a new float valve for our CT 125, however on turning the fuel on its leaking fuel out the bottom hose of the carb just as before. Where do we go from here, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like the needle valve isn't functioning for whatever reason. That means a complete carburator cleaning. But didn't you do that when you changed the float? You might as well anytime you open the carb. It just takes a tiny piece of junk, rust or grit or sludge, to keep that tiny valve from working properly. So you should have got a complete carb rebuild kit if you went to the trouble of changing the float. Chances are good then that the float was not your problem but is a stuck float valve. You'll have to remove the carb and use compressed air and carb cleaner. Some times it's just easier to replace the carb. But it only takes a tiny piece of something to keep that pin from working properly. The real mechanics will be along to help further I'm sure.

Hog talked about what could be making the new float valve leak fuel.

If that is not what is happening then the other most likely cause would be that the float itself is sinking allowing fuel to overflow and leak from the overflow line. (Hose at bottom).
If the float is the plastic "hollow" type check for liquid inside of it. If it is the black solid type see how it floats in a solvent of some type. Also rub on it to see if black stuff comes off of it with only a little force. If so, you found the problem.
If none of the above is found to be the problem then the "overflow / vent tube" inside the fuel bowl may be corroded allowing fuel to leak thru it making it appear as though the carb is overflowing/flooding.
If all of the above checks good for sure.... We can't fix it. o_O
(Assuming the float height and fuel level are set correctly).

I did make that assumption might wrong to do. So the question then is, did you adjust the float height at all? If so then lower it a tad. (tad = a little) English being the confusing language that it is.
