I recently purchased my first bike. Its a hyosung gt250r. Ran perfect when I first got it. Other day I overtook a vehicle and one of the two cylinders went dead. At lower rpm its running perfectly. When it gets to 6k rpm the cylinder starts misfiring and sputtering. At 7k rpm completely dead. I've cleaned the carbs, changed all fuel lines and vacuum lines. Changed fuel filter, spark plugs... Nothing changed. I've stripped the carbs down to the pure housings multiple times making sure I haven't missed anything. Can a coil cause this issue or does this sound like a CDI problem with timing? The cylinder that stays running doesn't studder one bit and will run the engine to redline. I'm stumped.
