Having trouble starting motorcycle. It is cold -5 Celsius and it is getting gas and spark but just not firing. As probably flooded. It's a 1980 Honda CB750, ran great last year. Almost starts, but just does not keep going. Could it just be too cold.
How long has the gas been sitting in the tank? Did you add any fuel stabilizer before parking it for the winter? It might be stale gas and gummed up carbs.
Gas goes flat very quickly. Batteries go flat. Wait until it warms up a bit. Clean the plugs. Connect the battery to a tender, for many days. Disconnect and check the volts of the battery, and report back. And move to somewhere warmer like the left coast.
