The new section of the Foothills Parkway opens in the Great Smoky Mountains. 16 miles of new curvy mountain road.
Skip to 15:00 for the best part of the ride. I wanted to film the entire new section so there is very little editing.

I was in the North Carolina mountains mid-October - Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and visited family. Love the mountains.

Nice scenery, but following slowly along behind all those cars would make me nuts.
Can't enjoy the curves like that.
I can get all the traffic like that I want here in New Jersey.
