Motorcycle Safety Barriers

Yesterday, I took my SV650 and did my usual backroads to 129 then to Cherohala Skyway and home. I noticed on the North Carolina side of the skyway they have installed these barriers on some of the most dangerous corners. Good on North Carolina, now if we could get Tennessee to repave their part of the skyway it would be a perfect.

I found this website which appears to be the manufacturer of the barriers, watch the video it has a crash dummy sliding into the barrier.

Now if states would get rid of those decapitating wire barriers.
Absolutely. Those things look like something out of a bad horror flick!
All right, the company not saves only the road it saves the life of the people.
Thanks
The government gives the contract to the company so that they provide a barrier beside all the road. I respect the company because they are always thinking about the safety of the people.

Those wire barrier things, have been installed down the middle of the highway I travel, on the mainland.
The look dangerous to me.

Yeah, and now states are stringing razor wire between the lanes, wonderful.

We have some of them over in AB as well. They rip the hell out of a vehicle that hits them I'm sure they'd be deadly to a biker that would hit them. I was just commenting to my wife about them this past week.
