Motorcycle Picture Challenge....

We did this on another bike forum and it was fun. The intent is to get out and ride to complete the challenge before someone else does. All you need to do is take a picture of your bike with the challenge item in the background.

The rules here are simple. Be sure to note them before creating the next challenge for the rest of us.

1 - Has to be YOUR motorcycle.
2 - Picture has to be taken after challenge is made.
3 - Challenge is good for 2 weeks, if it is not met, the previous picture poster picks a new challenge.
4 - Nothing illegal to be challenged.
5 - Keep comments to a minimum, if you comment, post the current challenge after your comment. In Bold Italics
6 - No repeat challenges.
7 - All challenges must be of your bike and a landmark, something most people can ride to or find in their area.
8 - No other bikes can be used in a challenge, ie. your bike next to a Ducati. Some exceptions allowed, ie. you bike next to a bike cop.
9 - All challenges can be removed by moderators. At which point the postee of the challenge will be asked to change his current challenge. After being asked once and there is no change or challenger posts another crapy challenge then the prior challenge winner will pick a new one.

Examples - "Your motorcycle in a garage", "Your motorcycle crossing a river", "Your motorcycle with no engine", "Your motorcycle next to a firetruck" etc. Doesn't need to be a fancy picture, cell phones, whatever works.

Thanks guys. Remember, this thread is supposed to get guys to WANT to go ride right away and beat your friend to the picture challenge, be creative, but have limits. Thanks.

Well, in Minnesota I had 4 options:

Austin, MN = Austin, TX (state capital)
Buffalo, MN = Buffalo, NY
Houston, MN = Houston, TX
Columbus, MN = Columbus, OH (state capital and largest city)

I was able to get Columbus on the way home from my ride today. Sorry about the lighting. I got there a bit later than I had planned and it was getting dark.

This challenge was harder than I expected, would have thought the local car dealerships would be flooded with these flags but none of them were, luckily I found a gas station that did.

Next challenge, your bike in front of someone's yard that has a minimum of three inoperable vehicles that have obviously been parked there for some time. This can include cars, motorcycles, tractors etc.. No junkyards or repair shops, it must be at a persons house.

MMM, to complete this I only had to pull my bike out of the garage and move it down the ally about 100 FEET.

The first Jeep is running, the truck, Jeep in front of the truck, and the trailer to the right are all non-running without registration. They are hidden well.

Below is a Google Sat view of what the property looked like until this spring when town started to get after him.

There were a "few" more then.

I have to think about the next challenge if this covers the current one.

I have one.

Your bike in front of a large Ron Paul for Pres sign.

Extra points if 2008 and 2012 are crossed out and 2016 is added. There are TWO of these signs near me, only one has 2008 crossed out.

For anyone who says, this has been done, that was during the election. Normally these sign are taken down after the election.

Not quite as well known as Ron Paul, but its a campaign sign. (I'll wait for confirmation before I post the next challenge.)

Around here Ron Paul is always in the game. The signs were never taken down from 2008, just updated with a new year.

Thought I had it today! All summer, coming back from the cabin, I've seen a Ron Paul sign in a guy's front yard. Took a motorcycle ride up there this afternoon and it was gone. I saw the homeowner out there and I stopped to talk to him. He said it disappear a couple of days ago. He said now that school has started, there have been a lot more kids in the neighborhood. :thumbsdown:
