Motorcycle Picture Challenge....

We did this on another bike forum and it was fun. The intent is to get out and ride to complete the challenge before someone else does. All you need to do is take a picture of your bike with the challenge item in the background.

The rules here are simple. Be sure to note them before creating the next challenge for the rest of us.

1 - Has to be YOUR motorcycle.
2 - Picture has to be taken after challenge is made.
3 - Challenge is good for 2 weeks, if it is not met, the previous picture poster picks a new challenge.
4 - Nothing illegal to be challenged.
5 - Keep comments to a minimum, if you comment, post the current challenge after your comment. In Bold Italics
6 - No repeat challenges.
7 - All challenges must be of your bike and a landmark, something most people can ride to or find in their area.
8 - No other bikes can be used in a challenge, ie. your bike next to a Ducati. Some exceptions allowed, ie. you bike next to a bike cop.
9 - All challenges can be removed by moderators. At which point the postee of the challenge will be asked to change his current challenge. After being asked once and there is no change or challenger posts another crapy challenge then the prior challenge winner will pick a new one.

Examples - "Your motorcycle in a garage", "Your motorcycle crossing a river", "Your motorcycle with no engine", "Your motorcycle next to a firetruck" etc. Doesn't need to be a fancy picture, cell phones, whatever works.

Thanks guys. Remember, this thread is supposed to get guys to WANT to go ride right away and beat your friend to the picture challenge, be creative, but have limits. Thanks.

First Challenge:

Your bike in front of a sporting goods store.

If it is on me then let's go with.

Your bike,
Veteran's Cemetery
Veteran's grave
Fresh Flowers on the grave that you brought with you

You don't have to know them but it would be better if you did.

Then on November 11 we should all repeat this challenge
Ok, thought this was interesting considering that this guy served in three different wars.

Didn't want to ride up between headstones so you can see the flowers barely way in the background and the other picture is from the headstone out to the bike.

Good job, your call on the next one, but I wonder how many more we can get by Monday?
Ok I tried to load some additional pics but apparently I've used up my allotted limit for attachments, however when I try to manage my attachments it does not allow me to. Any ideas how to resolve?
Use a photo storage site such as photobucket then link the photos

If it was up to me, I'd say that a Remembrance will almost always trump any other photo.
A few more of the photos. I'll post up the next challenge shortly.

And to think, you hear people referring to athletes as Heroes sometimes.

Anyone that needs clarification on who a "True American Hero" is take note.
Next challenge, your bike in front of a non-franchise (that means no KFC, Popeyes, Churches, Bojangles etc.) fried chicken establishment.

Amen to that!
Well, the forcast is cold and crappy and I'm not just talking about the MN Vikings! High of 63 degrees today! But I did manage to get out on the bike for a ride. I was able to find a couple of chicken places on the rough side of town!

"Golden Chicken" - Dine out and Delivery

Gotta love the review on "Yelp" also: Golden Chicken is in a scary store front where for take-out you sit in a three by six foot bare sheetrock "lobby" until they pass your meal through a bullet-proof glass cubby, and it takes a while for them to get around to making it, but for delivery, wow! There's just nothing better than fried chicken, so tender and juicy on the inside

Next challenge is your bike pictured in front of a Large wall mural/painting. (The mural/painting must be an advertisement).
Great job Bricks, last time I was there was when we buried a co-worker who died very young. A carry over from exposure in Nam
Next challenge is your bike pictured in front of a Large wall mural/painting. (The mural/painting mu?st be an advertisement).

Like in my avatar? Can I go back and take a pict with proof it's new?

A Mail Pouch tobacco barn mural would also be good. I think I know were one is located.

I thought I knew were a a Mail Pouch barn was but it looks like it was torn down.

New challenge: Your bike in front of a town / borough sign, were the town name is the same as a large well known city.

Example, I once lived near Belfast PA, Manhattan KS would count.

Good luck

Good find KMWilliams. I rode around all Sunday afternoon looking for a mural with no luck at all.
