Okay, nobody in a blue or Gray uniform, but I do have a picture of Chillin's and my bike in front of a period piece of artillery yesterday at Gettysburg

And in this one today Gary and I stopped in front of a Veteran's Memorial on the Susquehanna river valley

In Gettysburg and couldnt find a re-enactor? Im in gettysburg at least 2-3 times a month, all you have to do is go to one of the house tours one block up from Adams County Winery, they are there every single day. The Battlefield Tours have lots that do tours (Many are park rangers working the battlefield) do it in uniform.

Oh I didn't say it met the challenge, just an interesting picture.

Eye I don't know. There is a row of them on the side of the road, maybe SNCO can tell you what the are.

I thought so!

As big as those cannons are there must have been some HUGE parrots around back in those days. Not like the little, unoffensive pretty birds we have down here now.

This isn't for the challenge either, but thought any Civil War buffs might enjoy it. 6th North Carolina infantryman at Henry House Hill.
