Motorcycle Picture Challenge....

We did this on another bike forum and it was fun. The intent is to get out and ride to complete the challenge before someone else does. All you need to do is take a picture of your bike with the challenge item in the background.

The rules here are simple. Be sure to note them before creating the next challenge for the rest of us.

1 - Has to be YOUR motorcycle.
2 - Picture has to be taken after challenge is made.
3 - Challenge is good for 2 weeks, if it is not met, the previous picture poster picks a new challenge.
4 - Nothing illegal to be challenged.
5 - Keep comments to a minimum, if you comment, post the current challenge after your comment. In Bold Italics
6 - No repeat challenges.
7 - All challenges must be of your bike and a landmark, something most people can ride to or find in their area.
8 - No other bikes can be used in a challenge, ie. your bike next to a Ducati. Some exceptions allowed, ie. you bike next to a bike cop.
9 - All challenges can be removed by moderators. At which point the postee of the challenge will be asked to change his current challenge. After being asked once and there is no change or challenger posts another crapy challenge then the prior challenge winner will pick a new one.

Examples - "Your motorcycle in a garage", "Your motorcycle crossing a river", "Your motorcycle with no engine", "Your motorcycle next to a firetruck" etc. Doesn't need to be a fancy picture, cell phones, whatever works.

Thanks guys. Remember, this thread is supposed to get guys to WANT to go ride right away and beat your friend to the picture challenge, be creative, but have limits. Thanks.

I actually disagree. If the person who won the challenge, posts a new challenge and it times out, then for me the previous picture poster is the winner before the current timed out poster. Otherwise it would simply read that the current poster just post a new challenge. But, whatever. I'll go with the general consensus, it's only a forum page after all.
Not challenge poster. Picture poster.

Regarding Rule #9, what is "postee", anyway? The person posting the challenge would be the "poster." The made up word "postee" would then refer to those receiving the challenge (i.e. anyone reading the post.) The person completing the challenge would be the "fulfiller" or "winner" of the challenge.
Let's use real words to reduce confusion.
Not challenge poster. Picture poster.
You got the general intent of my post. Let's not have a discussion about semantics.

Oh.....rule compliance:

I don't see it as exclusionary, just because you're looking for a church to park in front of doesn't mean you have to be a Christian to park there for 2 minutes.
I also wouldn't have a problem with challenge looking for a mosque, or a synagogue, temple, or any other specific religious building. Or any other type of building, secular or religious.
So in my opinion this is a fine challenge

My post, which I deleted, was simply to encourage some discussion...you know, thread counts, varying opinions, and so forth.

But then I thought that a lot of people wouldn't get it...and might get offended, feel marginalised, blah, blah...so being the good little forum member that I am, I deleted it.

Thanks for respecting the fact that I deleted my post, but reading it and replying anyway....at least I got one comment and you got one 'like'...win/win.
Ooo look at the heathens squirm. It can be any Church you want evil riders.

I was planning on going to either a church or a private school to get a picture of my bike with a wreath,
because surprisingly I did not see any wreaths on any public government buildings around my town.

Mike 721, good pics. I like the big and bright tail lights your bike has!

My ride has minimalistic rear lights, having been replaced by some prior owner. I am not really comfortable riding after dark for that reason.

current challenge: TBD by Mike721.

Taillights are so important yet many people don't even think about them.
I'm glad that mine has 6 standard taillight bulbs in those huge housings, and also 2 bulbs up in the trunk.

I put strips of reflective tape on the back of my helmet. After doing so, I have noticed a great reduction on how many cars come to a screeching halt behind me. o_O

Yesterday afternoon it was 42 degrees and dry in northeast Ohio, and I had some last-minute shopping to do. So I hopped on the bike, got the shopping done, then rode around for a while, looking in vain for a place to take
