Full on wildfire… I live in the mountains of eastern Kentucky, this is the only road to my house. Fire covered a coup thousand acres. No loss of lives or homes though, they did a great job of controlling it.

That was an epic picture, maybe as suggested we should start a thread for those.

Nothing is frozen around here right now outside of the freezer, but that may change today..we shall see.

You should get extra points for the tree being bark-less .

It’s is quite dead and rotten. Next heavy rain it might go down the creek, there’s a big one stuck on the dam a block or two from here.

Almost had this one but couldn’t find a safe place to pull off for the picture. 😢

I saw a lot of dead trees on the sides of the highway but chose not to stop for safety reasons too. Finally I went out looking and found these dead trees along the river on a side road, only about a mile from my house in fact.

I'm not so sure about this one.
I don't so much have a problem with the heart, I have a problem with the inoperative, disassembled bike.
The intent was you ride your bike somewhere and take a picture, the only way I'm going to accept this one is if you push it at least a mile with the heart on it, then take the picture

Only if you take it for a ride and take a snap of it in some picturesque setting. You know, your bike in a gently falling snow, some mountains in the background, surrounded by snow-laden firs, and the beef heart appropriately and creatively placed on your bike to capture the full essence of, and imparting your creative commitment to, the challenge..

Either take your beef heart for a ride or just take a ride and find a .. oh nevermind.
There is a fairly easy way for most people (in the US at least) to get this that everyone is overlooking...

Love's Travel Stop. Locations all over the U.S. I got sidetracked today, or else I would have taken a 5 mile ride to the one nearest me.

That was the easy way to find a heart that I was referring to, there are 600 Love's Truck Stops in the US, just ride down any major highway and you'll see a great big red heart soon enough.

Seeing one of those big red hearts glowing in the darkness alongside the highway was a miracle to me once on a long ride, you can read about it here...

Turns out there is only 1 Loves in NJ and it’s south, but they have the rest of the country pretty well covered, PA has some, so does NY.

Well this was an unexpected surprise.
I'll keep it simple to get this moving again, inspired by my recent run in with a local shop trying to get my car to pass state inspection.
New Challenge: Your bike with a (car) tire shop , with unmounted tires visible in the picture.

I thought the idea was I make the challenge something to go out for a ride to find. It sounds like some of you need to ride to a different state. 🤣
Your bike with at least 3 trees in full flower bloom.

I rode about 2 hours on Sunday in PA and NJ, not a bloom in sight, the best I could find was buds.
Your right though, if no one else get's it before the weekend I might just start heading south until I see flowering trees, wouldn't be the first time I started riding in Pennsylvania and ended up in Florida
