Motorcycle Picture Challenge....

We did this on another bike forum and it was fun. The intent is to get out and ride to complete the challenge before someone else does. All you need to do is take a picture of your bike with the challenge item in the background.

The rules here are simple. Be sure to note them before creating the next challenge for the rest of us.

1 - Has to be YOUR motorcycle.
2 - Picture has to be taken after challenge is made.
3 - Challenge is good for 2 weeks, if it is not met, the previous picture poster picks a new challenge.
4 - Nothing illegal to be challenged.
5 - Keep comments to a minimum, if you comment, post the current challenge after your comment. In Bold Italics
6 - No repeat challenges.
7 - All challenges must be of your bike and a landmark, something most people can ride to or find in their area.
8 - No other bikes can be used in a challenge, ie. your bike next to a Ducati. Some exceptions allowed, ie. you bike next to a bike cop.
9 - All challenges can be removed by moderators. At which point the postee of the challenge will be asked to change his current challenge. After being asked once and there is no change or challenger posts another crapy challenge then the prior challenge winner will pick a new one.

Examples - "Your motorcycle in a garage", "Your motorcycle crossing a river", "Your motorcycle with no engine", "Your motorcycle next to a firetruck" etc. Doesn't need to be a fancy picture, cell phones, whatever works.

Thanks guys. Remember, this thread is supposed to get guys to WANT to go ride right away and beat your friend to the picture challenge, be creative, but have limits. Thanks.

First Challenge:

Your bike in front of a sporting goods store.

Oh thanks....reasons why people don't want to win the challenge...cause they have to think of the next original one......

Okay.....Your bike next to a mailbox on a corner in a neighborhood ( it has to be on a corner and you have to have houses in the picture). Just something you don't see too often, I remember growing up having one right across the street.

By the way I just bought a raven.....
Nice looking ride!
:71baldboy:please post a new challenge, the weather is nice in NJ right now.
Thinking this is going to show up in "Things that piss you off" thread.
Let me try this again.
Darress theatre in Boonton NJ, they do show old movies
Here is their link http://www.darresstheater.com/id52.html

If you guys think this qualifies, next challenge your bike with a circus clown.
Living or statue.

No problem. I have searched the net and looks like the closest one is in Bradley Beach NJ, not going to be able to make that trip anytime soon.
Yeah, "Upper Mud Run" doesn't sound suggestive at all to me.

Maybe if I was in prison or something it might...
LOL, goal is to stay out of there! :71baldboy:
Well, the torential downpour, floodwatch, and tornado warnings broke just long enough for me to get out on the bike and take a look around. I found this one at Grumpy's Bar in Downtown Minneapolis!

Next challenge????
Nice... if only we were moved in, we close next week, and this is in the backyard of our new house, the top platform is almost 60 ft in the air.

Please go over there and park your bike, take a photo and lets move this along!
Tough Challenge.
I know where one is, just have to get the homeowners permission to put my bike in the driveway for the photo op. I will cruise by there in the morning and make an attempt.
As just a member I would say it is good, but I really am a nobody.
next challenge?
I use to design and install them. Have to see if I can call in an old contact or two.
it would have been, 15 years ago...now "kids are to fragile to play outside" stupid laws and "regulations" have stopped kids from having fun like when we and our parents were kids....now you have to wear a helmet to ride a bicycle, trampolines have to have a cage around them...ect. ect.
I often wonder about the stats that have brought about this society of wimps. I never wore a helmet to ride my bicycle, used a trampoline with out a cage, enjoyed diving off a diving board at the local swimming hole ( now closed due to insurance cost's). I cant remember the last time I saw a diving board! I am rapidly approaching my 50th birthday, still healthy! I did not know any kid that died until I was 17 when I lost a friend to a tragic car accident.
On Saturdays we left the house early in the morning and made it home most of the time by supper, no cell phone, no helmet and nobody worried. I belonged to the local rifle range, run by the Wayne PAL, the instructors were off duty officers who taught us valuable lessons on how to properly handle firearms! Never thought about taking a gun to school to hurt anyone!
I am trying to raise my boys to be men, my daughter to be a lady. That is getting more and more difficult.

I love the idea, I think we should allow this challenge to continue as most of the country has been in a deep freeze. Might have riding temps here in Jersey by Saturday if the rain holds up.
I like that.

Predicting temps in the 50's by Saturday.
Your bike with a stranger of the opposite sex with your bike. I believe we agreed on a weather delay.
But I may be wrong....
If you're an "outtie" then the opposite sex would be an "innie."
