Hi! I have a 83 Honda CM250C which starts and runs without c choke on. But I have to give it some non constant throttle to keep it running or put the choke on. I recently cleaned the carb, it has a plugged main jet. But when I try the bike with the carb cleaned. Still the same. I take the carb off the bike and make sure everything is worling properly. The butterfly valve, choke, float... but the **throttle slide cylinder ** can move freely . Which I think is not good because is not giving the right amount of gas. Or is it designs like this and only work when the bike is running?

I have no idea right now, if somebody can help me it would be appreciated a lot.

Thx guys!
