180 k is 111 mph. On a tight track averaging 65 tough. Tracks with long straights, sweeping corners, no hairpins, can raise the average. Now a complaint about commentators, who are " absolutely " full of it sometimes. If you look at the pic of Phillip Island there is water in the back ground. That is the Pacific Ocean said the know everything commentator.
It is not the Pacific, it is the Tasman Sea. To the South is the Southern Ocean. I sent them an email, but got the usual reply. Nothing. UK Just Thunked. Mrs Snippets has been 189k on the back of Bluzu.

oh wow :O that's a big margin damn!
You listed tracks. The IOM is a road course. The Ulster GP is also on a road course, and the lap record on the Dunrod course is faster than the IOM. The tracks usually have one, just one, section where top speeds can be reached. The road courses have many miles where top speeds can happen. The IOM probably has about 25 miles where speeds well over 125 and faster be reached. Not unlike your local freeway. There are of course corners and tight sections, but not much compared to the fast sections. There is plenty of viewing on Youtube. UK

Some of the Youtube videos show the speedometer in the lower corner of the screen.
I've seen that speedo reading 204 mph in the IOM videos.
Those guys are NUTS!
