With manufacturers adding everything except the kitchen sink to bikes, what do is find is the most worthless if anything.

Not only 2-wheeled vehicles.... my last truck was a 2006 Ford F250 diesel with a six-speed manual transmission. Tach? Good idea. Now I have a 2014 Chev 2500 diesel with an Allison automatic trans. Tach? Why?
