With manufacturers adding everything except the kitchen sink to bikes, what do is find is the most worthless if anything.

The (almost) completely hidden fusebox.

Oh, I forgot. A so-called totally useless feature that I would call a parking light. You push in the key, turn ALL the way to the left, and the tail light turns on, It's very easy to turn the key not far enough, remove it, and have a dead battery in the morning. Don't even bother to ask me how I know. Oh, and you can't see if the taillight is on, unless you look from the back.

A small parking light in the headlight assembly. It's a T10 bulb that's barely bright enough to be seen 20 feet away. It's on all the time the headlight is on, and stays on if I turn the key to the P position (which also lights up the tail light). It burned out a couple years ago and I've never bothered to replace it.

Even the whole parking light idea is pretty worthless. Considering the amount of battery oomph it takes to start that boxer motor, leaving the parking light on for more than an hour is risking a no-start situation.

Horn. Cars or bikes. Other than to hail a friend as you pass by, but even then I don't use them. If they cannot hear my clutch-in throttle blips then they are too busy to hail.

With a CVT, the tachometer on my or any other scooter seems superfluous.
Not only 2-wheeled vehicles.... my last truck was a 2006 Ford F250 diesel with a six-speed manual transmission. Tach? Good idea. Now I have a 2014 Chev 2500 diesel with an Allison automatic trans. Tach? Why?

I also agree with the horn.

The stock Aprilia one is a total joke.

Here in the Philippines you need a loud horn and you need to use it often, as people treat the streets like it's their living room, and they have a FY attitude to any/all drivers/riders.

Then you have thousands of dogs roaming the streets, as well as other assorted animals.

A loud horn is a MUST.

That's to fulfill UK requirements for a front and rear lights when parked on a certain class of road.

It would be horn for me as well. I prefer to be prepared to make evasive maneuvers rather than being prepared to use the horn. So it gets used once a year during safety inspection instead.

I am on board with the stock seats, on all my bikes except the R1 had banana seats and I love the Corbin's and Seargent's I have bought for the wings and the sport bikes.
I had a solo Mustang seat on the FXST. I really liked it, but since it was a saddle, it had no back support so longer rides were uncomfortable.

I live 11 miles from the City, on my Farm and rides in all compass directions shows 'Roadkill,' everywhere, with Turkey Buzzards, the size of small CROP dusters enjoying the Buffett and the only way to get them airborne is to start HONKING the HORN, a couple of hundred yards away, Car, Truck, Motorcycle, Scooter or Senior Tricycle like I now ride/ drive. Some of those flying carnivores will stay glued to their delicious meal until the last second!
