I'd take the other one out and go to ACE hardware and buy a Stainless bolt the same size. I did this myself, Use removeable loctite when putting it back in.

Two thoughts, do you have a MC salvage business in your area? Look on line for replacement parts. Easier to find and likely cheaper than a dealership.ive got a 2003 fatboy, the chrome bolt fell out that holds the lockable latch in place on my sissy bar sideplate.harley dealer tells me to buy a whole new side plate( $105 )any ideas where i can match up this bolt-nut & washer?
+1The HD catalog has a whole section of chrome bolts. I don't know what size the sideplate requires, but you might want to check the catalog (and possibly educate your LHD) to see if an exact replacement is available.
