Mileage Issues

2437 Views 26 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Unkle Krusty
My bike should be averaging 180-200mi between fillups. I’m averaging 62mi. After accidentally leaving the petcock switch on “reserve tank,” I discovered I could average 120mi. What’s the problem?

BR-549 was also a band
And folks wonder why so many of these O.P.s ( Original Posters ) never come back. They probably do, but they don't recognize anything, get scared and call the Geek Squad to figure out what's wrong with their computer.

I'm not surprised I never heard of them. The entire time they existed my hearing was really wonky. Everything sound like a broken speaker so I never listened to music of any kind. Technology finally has made it possible for me to listen to music again but I never heard one thing from that band.

One post, obviously insufficient information and was last seen on the forum three days ago, the same time joined and posted. Hey, maybe he sold the bike or something. Who knows?
I could be wrong but people did ask for more information, and didn't get any.
So of course we just started "talking among ourselves". Forums are for sharing information and having fun.
No information to share here so lets have some fun and clown around a bit. Can't see anything wrong with that.
:)
So BR-549 was a band? Never heard of them either.

Or he continued to leave the bike on reserve and is now out in west Texas somewhere walking back to the nearest gas station. Who knows about these hit and run posters. They waste everyones time.:( :( :(

I've never heard of BR-549 either. I'll have to youtube 'em.
What modal bike do you have. Try clearing your cookies. ?
I will base my reply on the quality of the question. My first reply was not altogether accurate. But my second reply did have some decent info. But if the OP will do nothing to help themselves, then why should I spend time helping them.
I have plenty of things to do on my own bikes.
