I am quickly learning the joys of making your bike your own. Reflecting your tastes, your needs, your personality etc. I happened by a local coffee shop last night, and there were more than 20 bikes in the parking lot. Lots of big fancy HD's, GW's and tons of chrome and custom paint. I felt a touch out of place with my little stock Virago. But sharp eyed riders noticed a mod on my machine that got some attention. I bought this bike from my BIL who had issues shifting it. Being a creative guy he fab'd up his own heel shifter.
Got me wondering, what other home made mods have you done to your ride? Mine has very little stuff available on the aftermarket, so home made is pretty much the only way to go. I'm sure it's the same for tons of other riders out there. Post your mods and share ides!
