Hey guys! So I was wondering if anyone knows how to make their own protective suit? I wanted to sew in protection into a leather one piece or jacket and paints myself; just can't find any DIY references.

Thanks!

Try this link covering design principles and explaining a “zoning” principle for motorcycle clothing where the protective performances of different parts of the garment are proportionate to the severity of the forces they will be expected to withstand in an impact with and slide along a hard, abrasive road surface. http://www.pva-ppe.org.uk/standards.htm

Here's a diagram from that site:

I think its a project that wont be very cost effective unless you buy the material in bulk. I used to try and make my kids cloths when they where young until i realized it was cheaper just to buy walmart clearance items. Plus they didnt end up with three arms and one leg....
