Low Fuel Sensor Switch Rebuild?
It seem that my sensor on my 84 VT700C Shadow has gone south...
I did some searching on the web and found that a new OEM part is over $60.
During my search I also found a page that mentions that just the sensor (a NTC Thermistor) Newark Part number 20F735 TYPE RL2004-582-97-T10 can be replaced.
Has anybody done this? Is it easy to do? Does it do the trick? Any body have pictures or additional instructions of the procedure?
Sounds like a $2 part.
