okay so I get on the bike (2007 Yamaha V-star 1100 classic) and I'm on the freeway and as soon as I reach about 60 miles per hour the motorcycle started to shut down as if i was running out of gas... I knew it had enough fuel but I switched into reserve anyways just in case... Managed to get to the side of the road where it completely died off.. The power was still on but it wouldn't turn over about 5 minutes of sitting there thinking I turned it off and waited then after a min i turned it over slowly putt putted back into full power.. after that it ran fine but I'm afraid it's going to happen again. OK guys what do you got.

2 possibles I can think of. 1) Tank vacuum. Next time loosen the fuel cap or ride with it loose and see if it happens. 2) Fuel passage restriction not allowing fuel into the float bowl. This one means clean the carb or I guess it could also be a mis-calibrated float level as well if you recently cleaned it.
