Oh, geez! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend you! ****? Can we go back in time and make this work? Just about motorcycle, I promise.
So, are you saying you are one of those controllers that doesn't want a thread to ebb and flow and naturally go as any face to face discussion would go but stay strictly and solely on one and only one subject? That's rather hard to do and have an open dialog. Maybe a statement on the very first post should state the thread is not an open dialog thread. See if that gets you what you want. I know what I'd do with it then. But maybe that's what you want. Generally though, threads ebb and flow of their own natural course, touching on several other subjects as they go. Just like any face to face discussion with coffee and friends, or beer depending on time of day, would go. But NOT AN OPEN DIALOG THREAD statement at the beginning might be just what you need to keep it yours only. Just a thought. Hmm, not on subject either but seems appropriate to help at this time.:( :( :(

The only way you can control the ebb and flow of a conversation is if there is a clear subject to be discussed, and you are the chairman of the meeting. If someone feels the chairman is offside, they have to resort to Robert's rules. None of that is going to happen with an open forum like this. I reserve the right to speak my mind, even if a bit off subject, for a few important reasons.
I am a senior. I have been riding a very long time. I have a lot of knowledge and experience about bikes. That is the way I am.
Telling me to shut up, stay on subject, or bugger off, does not usually work. But please, do not be shy, and speak your mind.

Uncle, I'm sorry for being such a pecker head. Truly. It's just hard for me with the Orange Clown and the condition of my country. I guess I imagined something better.
Porky: conceal and carry. That right there says it all. You have to carry a gun! For what? For your freedom? For Merica? Why do you have a gun? And why did you state you have a gun in a discussion about leather vest?

Is Wade back?
You mean the one I refer to as the left handed fermion. I had to reread this thread to find out what it was about.
I made some references along the way. Here is an update. The tiger painted on the leather jacket. Long time ago lots of guys rode Triumph Tiger bikes, so they got a tiger head painted on their leather jackets. My brother painted a few.
Number 46, is Valentino Rose's number, and the year I was born. Sonny Bill Williams is a rugby player, played for the All Blacks. Very well put together. Usually takes about 3 on the opposing team to stop him. We still practice peace and love in our households.

Well it would seem that since criminals can't be kept in jail/prison because they might get the corona virus, it might just be a good idea to carry some kind of defensive weapon to use in case one of these criminals thinks you would make a good victim.

You can't trust government to do what is in your best interest.

There was 3.7 million back ground checks request in March. A record. The checks are related to gun purchases.
So there are two signs you may get the virus. Purchasing toilet paper, and buying a gun.
Up here a sure sign you have cancer, is the urge to run across the country.

In fact, I own one vest. There are no MC patches on it. There are spikes and punk rock patches all over it. I am involved in the punk scene. Whenever I ride, I never wear this. I ride in the same motorcycle jacket. One of the motorcyco patches I got is something I want to sew on, but sewing on leather is difficult and time consuming.
