None of the books I looked at will give me an idea of what could be causing fuel to be leaking from my bike. This only happens after I go out for a long ride. After I park the bike, I see drops of fuel leaking right in front of the kick stand area. Could this be a bad fuel pump?

It could just be a leaking pipe from the pump to the FI; probably have to uncover the engine to see it, and maybe tighten the fittings.

There is a recall notice for the fuel pump bracket. If you haven't had it done, your dealer will replace the fuel pump assembly including the bracket. There's no charge. It's a safety recall.

I had mine done even though there was no sign of leaking.

If your bike is leaking beware that it could cause a fire.

That list is incomplete.

For all 2005-2008 K1200S/R/R Sport there's a recall for the fuel pump, installing a cam chain jump guard and also a foam damper for the front brake reservoir.
