What the heck is wrong with that communist state with this now? It's liquid cooled so it's bound to pass emission standards. Is it the requirement to go electric? It's not my style but not a bad looking machine.

Well now CA is messed up because of a very, very liberal Governor, Gov Sweetie Pie and his dedicated left wing socialist friends.
Jerry's Dad, Pat Brown officiated for many years, when Southern, CA, especially the Los Angeles basin, was a SMOG filled hell.
The natural geography of the place, with 7,000+ ft mountains surrounding the basin and the Pacific ocean on the west side, the inland sea breezes kept all of the smog sort of trapped there and made a very beautiful place, on some days look like the fog had rolled in:
No kidding, My cousin moved from Missouri to the City Of Commerce in the late 50's due to better wages. He worked at a very large wholesale grocery distributor for 6 months before one morning, he looked up and saw the Mount Wilson Observatory on the top of the mountain and it really shook him up!
I worked maybe 10 miles below the Azusa Mountains and hardly ever saw them.
So, California started 60 years or more ago, to prempt the Fed's on environmental issues, in a tougher way to try and eliminate the terrible smog and the laws and rules have grown to encompass the entire state.
It has been successful and the air is fairly clean now.
Bye the way, the Original Indian inhabitants called the basin the "Land of the smokes." This was a long, long time ago, even before Los Angeles was a Spanish Mission called "La Reina."
Yeah, that's why I question if they won't let that bike in because the new rules call for electric vehicles. Would not surprise me. I saw a major difference in smog the last 5 years I had to be out there. But who knows what Governor Moonbeam has done since.
I've been 6ft-5 inches since the 11th grade but I haven't grown upward but have really grown outward as in circumference:biggrin:
There are a lot of nice bikes of all kinds out there and all seem to have something that makes me not like them. 99% is poor ergonomics that make them uncomfortable for me in one way or another.
Usually, the handlebars don't readily fall to hand, the footpegs are to high and I'm not an 80lb Jockey, or they are to far forward or even backwards. The seats for the most part suck on almost every bike at one time or another. The windscreen is to high or low. The mirrors won't allow a clear image as all I see are my love handles or my arms---and the list goes on.
All bikes seem very nice in the dealers air conditioned showroom as you sit on it for 5 minutes, however, crossing Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas or any of our other vast areas when it's 100++ degrees and with high humidity and in some cases in stop and go traffic, makes one wonder about their decision making prowess.
That's one of my complaints with liquid cooled bikes. With air cooled you're hot from the get go in summer heat. Get in traffic with those liquid cooled things and all of a sudden you get a blast of heat from hell. When I test ride I try my darnedest to ride in circumstances I'd actually ride it in. No showroom love affair for me.
