BMW went with a third party cassette transmission on this bike that they will not work on or sell parts for. A small part broke in mine and they want a lot of money to replace it. I am looking to find a used one that works. Any suggestions?
An old post on the i-bmw forum recommended R&D Motor Sports for out of warranty transmission work. I can't vouch for them, but it's worth a call. Here's their contact info:

Thank you for the info. I just got off the phone with them and I am impressed with their knowledge and background repairing/upgrading/improving transmissions for all motorcycles.
