Just got new bike and throttle grip is slipping

Use grip glue, you can get it at any bike shop. Some rubber glues can degrade the grips or throttle sleeve. I've used spray glue with good results and PVC pipe glue. Don't use a lot of it so it doesn't accidentally get into the throttle sleeve.
