How do u guys choose seat height according to your inseam to be comfortable? does seat height have to be lower than the inseam?
Can I get seat height same as my Inseam? will that be safe for the road? Because as I know some seat is also wide...
Because This weekend I was about to try the V-strom 650 from a friend, I think my inseam is about 31", and V-strom's steat height is 32.3 in .... but he was busy... so I didn't try it today, I called up another friend and tried the Honda XR 650L instead ... well I didn't know the seat height is 37" !! (I wonder who can sit on that with two feet on the ground?! Anyone?) I though it was same as the 250 model which is about 31" .... Anyway I get on it, it actually felt pretty good! I mean it doesn't feel comfortable putting my feet down, because I will have to put the bike somewhat on it's side to touch the ground, but anyway, I managed and blanced quite well on road and off road without stopping..(actually this bike makes me felt like a God in dirt).. but I don't plan to buy it, it seems a bit too high to ride it on road... but what about the V-strom 650 or 1000? will that be dangerous if I want to ride it on the road? I don't have a chance to try it yet, but I can't help just keep wondering about that
