Make sure your handlebars aren't bent and your front forks are straight. Also, a bent fender can cause one fork lower to rotate a bit and cause a brake caliper to get mis-aligned. It doesn't mean your forks are bent necessarily. They can just be rotated.
Wouldn't hurt to check the chassis alignment either and take a look at your rear end since you felt like the rear was slipping.
