Hmmmmm...5 street bikes, 3 dual purpose bikes, 2 dirt bikes, 2 project bikes, and one dirt bike in the barn that I am getting running and putting tires on for my BIL. Go for it.

Sport bikes are great, I am scared to buy one, they make people ride fast... I had 2 sport bikes, 92 Kaw ZX11, 2000(?)ZX9 and a few fast street bikes: 06 Yamaha FZ1, 85 Honda Sabre V65, 03 Hornet 919(now)
Recently ZX12 popped up on facebook market place really cheap...

True. Ive had a few fast sportbikes over the years. Now i like super light low cc sport bikes. My R3 is 321ccs, and about 321 lbs soaking wet. She tops out at 114 mph, and that keeps me out of alot of trouble.

I have 5, 4 of them are in running condition and ready to use. 2 identical touring bikes (one will replace it's much older twin sister eventually), one muscle cruiser, and an antique UJM.
My wife has 2, a large bagger/ touring bike and a smaller cruiser and she is thinking about adding an adventure bike to her stable.

Mine are 2008, 2016 Victory Visions, a 2011 Victory Kingpin, and a 1978 Honda CB400TII. In addition I have a 2000 Victory V92 SC currently in pieces, it may or may not be re-assembled.

My wife has a 2016 Indian Chieftain and a 2018 Indian Scout.

I don't know what it's like down there, but Japanese cruisers don't carry much weight around here. There are some, but most guys use them as a step up to a Harley, Triumph, Indian or Victory.

I've got 6 bikes for various uses, sportbikes, enduros, cruiser, adventure, and sport touring.
The significant other has an HD softail stuffed in my back shed that hasn't run in about 14 years.
Maybe that will be my first retirement project

I noticed, riders with a lot of weight usually ride Harleys...
