Once I get out of this telephone booth.....

Ah, never mind. Most won't have a clue as to what a telephone booth is anymore, so never mind.

Former USN, former T computer person, now working at home where every day
is Saturday!
I live in NW GA, and fiddle with stuff. Fixing dead/dying China scooters is a hobby.
Riding semi-classic style motors is a distraction. A Wolf 150 Classic and a CSC
San Gabriel 250, and my first, a Honda CB350, are now scattered around. Those
along with a half-dozen China/Taiwan scooters, riding and push mowers, chain
saws, leaf blowers, and I don't know what all keep my occupied.

Many of us on this forum remember the phone booth, I'm sure of it. I used it many times over the years, it was always a little tight doing those quick change of clothing routines back in the day, but they were everywhere so didn't have to look to far to find one. Actually I do miss them... Welcome aboard my friend...

Does your cape get tangled in the phone booth door?

Finally! Maybe you can answer a question I have. I've heard that your street clothes fit inside your cape as you fly around protecting truth, justice, and the American way. How come your cape isn't all bulky and wrinkled up? Welcome.

Welcome from Granite Falls, WA. Somewhere there is a thread here where people would ride their bikes all over and take photos next to all kinds of things, including old town clocks, gas pumps and telephone booths :)

Of the many boards that I frequent, I have never in 20+ years done any sort of introduction. This just popped into my head, and I went with it. Sort of figuring not many would get the reference.

Thank you all for a warm welcome. Hope my long winded blathers don't bother too many, too much.

I think you’ll find there are more old farts here than young whipper snappers. But that may have started to change too. Anyone remember the last poll about age? It may have shown a near split but I can’t remember for sure.

I'd like the record to reflect that I believe I'm a 'tweener' here.

Grumpy, more and more boards are requiring an intro. Especially in this suite of boards all owned by the same company
