You're right. I think I did a bit of both. Pretty happy now I've cleaned it up and inspected the fook out of it.

A few times people I've known got tired of their bike and sold it. Then they see it later, after the new owner has cleaned it up and spent a few bucks on it, and they wish they hadn't sold it.

All the bike needed was a little TLC.

Exactly. My planned budget has already been broken, but for now I'm going to change the following;

All new plastics
New chain and sprockets
New tires
New brake lines
Then the usual oil, filter, plugs etc.

After it's roadworthy, then I'll do the suspension rebuild when I have time and before I hit any circuits.
