I'm currently looking to purchase my first street legal bike and am looking for a good all around moto. I'll probably be doing about 80% on road and 20% off road. I really like the Husqvarna's and I would like to have one with two wheel setups...one for supermoto and one for off road. Which bike, the SM or the TE, would be easier to convert over? I found a pretty good price on a used SM450 that I'm thinking about buying and my question is this; Would it be possible to put bigger wheels/tires on it as a spare set that I could swap in and out? Or would I be better off getting a TE and purchasing a spare set of SM wheels/tires? I'm mainly curious about tire clearance and what not as I'm pretty darn uneducated about the whole thing. Thanks for the help!
