Hello everybody. New member here. I just acquired a little project bike. It is a 1998 Honda VT1100C3.

I’ve had a few motorcycles over the years, but always sold them for one reason or another. I’m hoping to keep this one around for a long time.

I think all I need to do is clean the carbs and a few other little things to get it road ready. I picked up an Ultrasonic cleaner from Amazon and now I just need to figure out what’s the best cleaner to use that’s safe for carbs. I’m sure it’s been discussed before on the forum so off I go to search!

See y’all around on the forum!

I use Berrymans. At least it works on old tractor carbs and parts but then not a whole lot to some of them.

I suppose a pic is in order. I got the bike from a good friend of mine. Here is a pic he took as I was leaving to bring it home.

That appears to be a very nice bike!
I'm guessing that whatever work you put into it will pay off in the end.
And Welcome to the forum!
