Well I've never heard of a law requiring you have someone ride with you or as a passenger. Doesn't mean there isn't one, I just never heard of one. Been too many years since I got one so it's not something I've stay up to date on. I was basically handed mine anyway. Even getting mine transferred to Texas I was almost just handed it as I went to the DPS office and when asked where I came from, I told them and got ask, you rode all the way from there in December?
