any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!

ive got all the electrical issues figured out on my 1980 Honda twinstar. it has already been converted to a 12v system. everything works perfect except for the damned tail light. it lights up when brakes applied but ive got no running light.

its the weirdest thing though...ive got a parking selction on my ignition switch which is supposed to light up the tail light only which it does flawlessly, but when in normal running mode ive got no light.

the only thing that throws me off on the wiring is this...brown wire goes from ignition to taillight for running light...green/yellow goes front brake switches to tail light for brake light...the brown and green/yellow wires t off and have a second wire which those 2 extra wires are wired together for some reason.

where should I start??

Did you figure it out? Mine was in the ignition switch. One of the clips on the bottom of the switch was cracked and not allowing it to make good contact.
