Well She's all Back together! My recent purchase was a chance I took and I feel it was worth it! Handed parts in a Patron box and never hearing it start I was nervous but bought it! She's running and I am truly excited to get it out on the road! Putting new tires on first! 1982 Honda nighthawk CB 650 SC!

That's a familiar view!
I haven't lived in Duluth since '98 and haven't been through there in about a decade.
I don't suppose anyone wants to see pictures.....
Show us the mongrels!

The handlebars are lower in one of these pics than the other photo because during that time I took an advanced rider skills course and had trouble with extremely tight turns and the grips hitting my own legs. So I raised them a few inches.

Nice looking bikes! I remember looking at a white Interceptor during, or right after the embargo in the 80's. But I think it was a 700, not sure of that, I've slept more than a few times since then.
Speaking of 700... someone at track just gave me 1987 VFR700F!! This was post Harley-tariff and they just short-stroked engine to reduce displacement. Apparently it's been sitting on Luke AFB for over 20-yrs (last registered 1998!). Has brand-new unused +20yr old tyres with moulding hairs!

Tanks badly rusted from sitting with no gas cap. Gonna use electrolysis to de-rust, then nickel-plate inside. Probably need new fuel-pump and carb-restoration.

Good score.
My motto: Anything for nothing is worth something.
Keep us posted on restoration.

I always wanted a Goldwing but just never managed to get one. That’s not an Aspencade is it?
No, it's a no frills Interstate. If they weren't so old now I would get another 1200 in a heartbeat. It was just right for me.
Oh yeh it was a 1986 Goldwing built at a time when they were built from the ground up at the factory in Ohio. Shortly after that they started building all Goldwings in Japan again. The guy I sold it to is still riding it today.
The Aspencade never interested me. Just too many bells and whistle. But I'm not sure my Roadmaster is any better. I'm always getting the operators manual out to do some of the more simple things. Like changing the time on the clock but I got that one down pat now.
