Hi guys! I recently bought a 83 Honda CM250C for 200 bucks. I flushed the old gas from the gas tank and carburator and replace it with fresh gas. It started right up, but if I don't put the choke on, I have to give it some throttle and not a constant throttle to keep it running. And with the choke on, the idle isn't stable but at least the bike stay running. I tried the mixture screw and idle screw which help the engine to keep it running a little longer but dies after 5 seconds or less.

I have no real idea to what to do now. So if you guys have some, I'll be happy to hear them ?

Thx !

Pull the carb off and give it a good "PROPER" cleaning. There are some good vids on YouTube to help you out. It's actually pretty easy, but do it right or you'll just end up having to do it again.
