I own a new Honda 750 & after about 1 week of not using the motorcycle, the battery will not work. The Honda M/C shop says this is normal! They checked my fuses, regulator, etc. All that & they just keep repeating that the battery needs to be replaced. Is this normal?

It shouldn't be. A test: disconnect the negative lead from the battery (after charging it) and connect a meter in Ampere mode between the lead and the battery terminal. If there is any reading other than 0 let us know. You should start with the meter at the highest Ampere scale, and work down from there (so you don't blow the meter).

Perhaps, like a new car, there is a steady load on the battery to keep electronics alive. IMO, it shouldn't be high enough to kill a battery in a week, unless the charging system is failing, or the battery is dying.
