Does anyone know who were the original suppliers of rims for Honda 150 dreams? I have a 1959, with Kaga rims and a 1963 parts bike with DID rims. The tires are 3 x 16. What is the corresponding rim size?
I have seen various sizes, 1.6, 1.8 and 1.85.

According to stock numbers original suppliers are the same company that supply's rims now. Daido Corp, Rims and chains. The DID are original. Diado (DID) was (is?) a Division of Meisei Trading Co of Tokyo.

Some useless information. They opened their first distributorship in the U.S. in 1962 and had five by 1966. They imported from their Plants in Nagoya and Tokyo. But the DID rims are the originals, Diado, made in Tokyo and Nagoya until they opened their first U.S. Manufacturing Plant in the USA in 1977.

They also were the distributor for Steel Craft Tools in the 50's and 60's in the US. Never heard of Steel Craft.
