Going up a tooth on the front sprocket - which I think you mean adding a tooth - will technically give you more top end speed - on paper anyway. But if the engine hasn't the horsepower to pull the gear, then you won't be going any faster.
As with most good BS stories, there is more to this than has been revealed. For starters the bike was going 20 mph than any other of the same model, could attain.Don't believe he ever touched his front brake before impact. Got to admit I'm surprised there wasn't more damage done to the bike and he was still able to ride it after the crash.
Bet his wrists were sore the next day.
are u suggestion you have a deer for a track day to donate to the cause? even if i could replicate hitting a deer the odds of the same outcome aren't too favorable. maybe we should try a kangaroo since so many of those incidents occur...As with most good BS stories, there is more to this than has been revealed. It was an opening gambit from a new member, so it had to be padded a bit. A bit like walking in to the saloon of an old Western movie. First impression kind of thing.
I said above, when you are the only witness, you can sling it far and wide. Take it to the track, and prove it.

I have been there done that, and have the stories and trophies. I could prattle on about it, but there is not need.are u suggestion you have a deer for a track day to donate to the cause? even if i could replicate hitting a deer the odds of the same outcome aren't too favorable. maybe we should try a kangaroo since so many of those incidents occur...
the saddest thing is that i have 10x more unbelievable stories i could tell that i don't bother with. a lot cooler too. i've been met with skepticism all my life. idk i guess it's normal ppls way of justifying a boring life or something.
surely even u have something hard to believe that's happened to you. i challenge you to share a story ppl are easily skeptical about.
A little hint might be, he's the big animal.I am sure Krusty has many stories. If you read about motorcycle racing in the PNW during the 60 and 70's and do a little digging you might figure out who he is. I could tell you but that would take all the fun out of it.
im familiar with dirt devils...idk if he is the real uk or just a fan. i live with an open mind. like i stated i live with an open mind and wouldnt be foolish enough to discredit anyone.I am sure Krusty has many stories. in the end it is just a story. i know that. ultimately i 100% dont care if it is believed or not. hitting a deer isn't cool or something to brag about. it's shameful, and i was trying to raise awareness. i have nothing to prove to anyone.cantsir, you want people to believe something that is absurd. You can claim anything's real if the only basis for believing in it is that nobody's proved it doesn't exist. As Carl Sagan once wrote; "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." Your credibility is shrinking fast.
well read the comments if u want to know why that is...I have been there done that, and have the stories and trophies. I could prattle on about it, but there is not need.
Two things in your original story caught my attention.
You were going about 20 mph faster than your bike can go. You did not stop to check the condition of the deer.
I was prepared to let it slide, but if you insist.

i understand skepticism, but idk maybe im trying to understand a little more...one thing i haven't figured out yet is what to do with my experiences in regards to other people.I wouldn't take it personally. It's more like no one can believe it can happen. Most deer hits result in death or major injury. Even with proof in the video above, people still have trouble believing their own eyes. So it really isn't you so much. That's my view of it anyway. But I do understand your side too. Hopefully you might see the other possibility as well.
I'm interested but what is PNW? I feel like I should know but....I am sure Krusty has many stories. If you read about motorcycle racing in the PNW during the 60 and 70's and do a little digging you might figure out who he is. I could tell you but that would take all the fun out of it.
Reading your past posts I could tell you were/are fast and probably famous.I have been there done that, and have the stories and trophies. I could prattle on about it, but there is not need.
