Hi, I have my motorcycle for almost 3 years now but still there's a lot I don't know.
I'm a short rider so I tip toe on stop, so now I'm planning to change to smaller tires to lower my ride but I'm not sure what to change with.
My front is 3.00 R17 and Back is 110/80 R17.
Or is it better if I just have the shock lowered?
You will probably get a better answer if you state the objective as: "I want to lower my bike (seat height)". Then provide make/model information. Extra credit if you toss in your location ... could be somebody in the neighborhood might know who is good at that task.
As to the question you asked, I think 17" tires are about as small as you want to go and narrower than the factory specs is not a recommended choice. It could be you have the wrong bike for you. I am selling a Suzuki DRZ400S for that very reason... too tall for me, though really a nice bike in nearly every other way.
Hi thanks for the suggestion, I'm from the Philippines and my bike is Keeway CR152, I'm only around 154.94cm and weigh 122.58lbs . I'm pretty much clueless about bike modifications but I really like riding.
