It reminds me of one a friend of mine had years ago. I'll guess it's a late 70's CB750? I'm sure someone on here can tell you for certain

I agree Eye, a buddy of mine rides a '77 CB 750, but that tanks looks a little bigger than his...so maybe a 900? and unless it has aftermarket exhaust I can also say it's not a 750, they came with 4 in 2 pipes.....

Looks like a late 70s CB750 to me. The clues are the rocker covers and the cone behind the seat. Pipes are not stock.
Read the serial number on the frame. Located just in front of the tank on the steering head. Bikes made from September on are usually for the next model year. So a bike built in Sept. 76 is a 77.

For a guy that knows squat about metric bikes I'm pleased as punch that I at least got fairly sort-of a little bit in the ball-park close to identifying this bike!
