Hey Uesque, if the guy was just trying to help someone, then have a heart - let him post it again. It would have been nice, however, had he explained what he was doing the first time around.

It's a professional auction house advertising one of their auctions. If it was an existing, contributing member telling us of something we might find useful, maybe, but if it smells like a duck...

Just call me Quick Spam McUesque. The auction may indeed be what it is presented as, but they are still a for profit company. I'm not sure of the funding stream for this site, but it would be unfair to use their largess to subsidize the advertising budget of an outside company.

Besides ... this was his 1st post. That's what tipped me off.

I don't mind if someone throws out a link to their business IF they post other stuff also. If its spam, Uesque can gun it down

I agree, CB! If this became merely an advertising place for vendors, I know I would disappear vey quickly! I get enough of that garbage through my email.
