well i got everything done well untill a month ago and now cant get a spark

after replacing the stator i took my bike out for a ride and everything went well untill it died about a mile from my house... tested rectifier, stator is ok and putting out good power...
when the bike sat for a hour or so it would run again untill it died. pulling a plug there was no spark (but there was a good healthy one when it sat for awhile), seems like all cylinders wont fire at all. i bought a cdi box and tried it... nothing, so i plugged the old one back in and now it wont even spark after it sits awhile!!! CDI box tests funny with the multimeter... and the new one i just got a day ago tests strange to and im putting it in this weekend. please help me!

ok, sounds like one of the carb floats is sticking.
ever work on carbs?
Before you jump and run, It may not be the float, it might be the float valve. If the float valve is stuck closed, the carbs are probably in need of a jet cleaning.
But first Make sure the float valve is opening and closing, and that the valve is closing before the floats bottom out.
