Hello there! So today i was trying to start my bike for the first time this year, but it's not working. It's a Suzuki gs500e (carburated). I checked the spark plugs(they are new), they do spark, cleaned them, put them back in; btw, before the winter I filled up over 12l of gas(so the tank was more than half) but now I think it's not on the same level..the petcock was set on PRI the whole time(while not used), was that an issue? Please help!

So, you're saying the tank was draining the whole time the bike was stored? I'd guess the engine is fuel soaked. PRI stands for prime, which allows fuel to flow through a fuel valve that is normally controlled by engine vacuum (running engine) to fill the carbs, so nothing stopped fuel flowing. If the float valves in the carbs leaked even a little, the fuel had to go somewhere, which could be into the engine. Smell the oil for gasoline, and look around for signs of fuel spill on or around the engine.
