Forgive me if this is obvious to most of you. I've been slowly bringing a 1978 Honda CB400 Hawk II back to life, and I ordered a full engine gasket kit from Athena. In the gasket kit are a number of small green rubber boots/gaskets with a tiny coil spring around one end. They are about the diameter of a dime with a small passage through them. I don't know what these are for, and extensive searching has not helped, since "green rubber gasket thing" is, unfortunately, as specific as I can get. I did not see these listed on the parts fiche for the cylinder or cylinder head.

Can anyone tell me where these go? Oil ports in the cylinders maybe?

Thanks for your help!

They are indeed valve seals, google confirms this now that I know what to search for. Thank you!
