Clutch not fully disengaging?

Could I take advice off you guys here's my question,
I just had my yamaha yzf125 abs inspected from motorbike trader my gears where all working yesterday and today he inspected the bike alone because I was distracted by my puppies now the when you put the bike into 1st or 2nd the stalls it never did before, has he done something to cause this as on his work sheet he pointed this as a fault can I do anything to restore the gears to normal.
Would appreciate your advice guys.

Thank you so do I undo the clutch slightly on the hand bars sorry I have just started riding again after 40 years.Clutch not fully disengaging?
Does it feel like it is trying to jump forward when shifted? If yes, dragging clutch, and the amount of free motion in the lever is likely too much, or there may be another adjustment to set the clutch free play that is not at the lever. If no, and it just shuts down, then safety switch, probably the one on the side stand (assuming it has one, like most do now).
He did mention the side stand so I will look at both tomorrow thanks I'll try and see how I go if no result I'll be back on cheers mate.Does it feel like it is trying to jump forward when shifted?
