That's a helluva ding. There's an old school method of putting water in it part way and freezing it. An auto shop may be able to use a dent puller, but make sure the tank is sealed afterwards. Keep an eye on eBay and Craigslist.
Fuel tank ding
Any way to fix a fist-sized ding on the fuel tank on my Yamaha VStar 650 or will I need to replace it?
