It would possibly be the gasket in them. They get old and brittle then crack and leak. You can get rebuild kits for them. You can also buy OEM new and you can get universal ones and the adaptor that work well, that's what I bought for my CB750F. What for bike is it?

The problem I'm having is that I have a gas leak off of my fuel switch(i dont know the proper term, the res, off, and fuel on switch). Is this just a bad gasket? What is my problem probably?

its for a 98 honda shadow 750 (vt750cd2)
Yeah, I would pick up a rebuild kit. Honda dealers have them.

Yeah, but you can't type pet****. You have to type petc0ck.
