Where I live we don’t see a color change in the foliage (mostly oak and pine trees). Sister and I took a ride over to Nevada via highway 88, then back on 88 and highway 4. The weather was just perfect, low 80s, and the fall colors were just breathtaking.

I just don’t think there is any better way to experience our beautiful country than on a bike. What would have been normally a three to four hour ride one way took us most of the day, just stopping and enjoying the scenery and each others company.

She told me she had an extremely stressful week and I could see it her. By the time we got to Carson City her stress was gone. It reminded me how therapeutic riding and enjoying nature can be. We donated to the local casinos; then road home the next morning, again enjoying the beauty of the Sierra mountains.

Sounds like a wonderful ride! I love riding whether it be on my own bike or behind Randy on the Vision. I do have to admit though that on trips I would rather be behind him. I can really see the things we are passing that way. I can also take lots of pictures.

I find that sharing a ride like that brings a couple closer. It also gives folks that have been married for 37 years something new to talk about.

My wife rides with me most of the time, my sister rides her own Goldwing and doesn't wish to ride behind anyone.

My wife and I have been married over 40 years, and she always has something to talk about.

You are so right about that!

And if you can also do it while enjoying time with family or other people you care about, it's even better.
